		<description>This sounds like a great day&#039;s hike, and I would really enjoy making the trip. The woodland looks very natural, is there doesn&#039;t seem to be any logging to spoil the natural beauty of the woddland? Is it a park owned by the community?

I have not experienced deer ticks, but being a UK resident we have found sheep ticks a nuisance in west Wales. They get onto the dog, and then are hard to get off them, unless you have a smoker and a cigarette to hand! Last year one even got onto me!
