Announcing our New England Vacation and Getaways Video

New England Video Title ImageAfter months of planning and long hours of production we have produced our first video about New England vacations and Getaways. It showcases the coast, lakes and mountains of the region, along with attractions, lodging, and wildlife scenes.

Our goal was to focus on the variety of the region and the many types of vacations and getaways you can experience in just one small area of the nation.

But there is also another reason why we chose the timing of this video… help to promote New England as a destination.

These are difficult economic times for the region and we have heard from many small businesses in the region they are hurting now and fear for the months ahead, especially those engaged in the tourist industry.

So we listened to our partners and friends and decided it was time to “beat our own drum” for New England and not be modest about all the great places we have to take a getaway or a vacation in the region.

If you’re familiar with the region see how many of the following you can spot:

Acadia National Park
Boston Freedom Trail
Cape Cod
National Seashore
Stellwagen Bank
Plimoth Plantation
Mystic Seaport
Lake Champlain

Nantucket

Block Island

Baxter
State Park
Shelburne
Museum
Mount Washington

Beacon Hill

Green Mountains

Martha’s Vineyard

White Mountains

Hancock
Shaker Village
Plymouth

Cape Ann

And now the moment you’ve all been waiting for… big drum roll please… okay, a small one…

We’d love to get your feedback on the video as we intend to make more but be state and destination specific. Let’s have your thoughts in the comment section below.

That was great. I enjoyed the way you put it together with the creative titles. I was especially fond of the “we have you covered” part as the title to the covered bridges, very witty. I was going to say it would be nice to have titles or something on specific pictures so that people would know where they were, but I suppose since this is just a teaser, not having them works better, it peaked my interest. Great job.
