Welcome to All Things New England – a New Magazine for the Region

All Things New England Logo Image“For me, All Things New England is more than an online magazine; it’s a way of life.” These are the words of Jessica Layne who owns and publishes the web site.

New England is so rich with different people and places there’s always room for another perspective and way of presenting everything that’s unique about the region. And in this age of self-publishing and easy-to-use tools, almost anybody can set up a site and start pushing out information to the world.

But that’s also a problem.

Ease of creating and publishing content also means there’s a lot of mediocre web sites out there, adding little value to the web and just trying to get your click to make a few quick bucks.

Lucky there are still enough people with talent who want to provide value and quality information, and are also willing to learn. And Jessica is one of those people, and she is also passionate about sharing her knowledge and experiences with others… about All Things New England.

Jessica continued during our discussion:

“When I first started in this business I knew nothing about web design. My writing experience consisted of office memos and thank you notes. I was in a terrible rut and looking for change. I needed something that I could pour myself into and feel passionate about. I needed a challenge. I needed All Things New England.

To put it simply, I love living in New England!

I love the fresh smell of Spring in the air, warm Summer days, the vibrant colors of Fall, and the feel of a Winter’s snowflake on my tongue. These things feed my soul and inspire me to get outdoors and enjoy all the wonder and excitement that life in New England has to offer!

All Things New England gives me the opportunity to share my experiences as a mother, a daughter, an individual, and as a New Englander while encouraging others to do the same.

My goal for All Things New England is to empower everyone to live life to its fullest, to draw communities together, to teach awareness and the gift of giving back, but most of all, to create a friendly, family orientated environment where everyone feels and knows that they are a part of something good.”

I’ve spent some time over at Jessica’s site and I’m really impressed with the information she has put together and obvious commitment to the community that comes across in her design and news.

I was so taken with her site and talents I asked her to be a contributing writer for our blog, and Jessica has accepted, and so you can expect to see the same passion and people stories she has at her site begin to appear here.

Go over and take a look at Jessica’s web site now. You can find All Things New England here.

And welcome to not only the New England web scene but also the Complete New England blog.

Another New England post by one of our writers is being prepared right now so be sure to visit again or just subscribe to our RSS Feed here and get notified automatically of events and news.

It’s all because of Jessica that New England is living up to the age now. It’s because of her that New England is being know not only to the people who live there but also to the rest of the world. Everyone should learn from her. She started small and yet bloomed into a flower. It’s a lesson learned from her that when you fear to take the first step then you’ll never get to the second step. Thank you so much Jessica, you are loved :)
