The Best New England Fall Foliage Resource on the Planet!
Okay maybe that’s a bit too hypey of an announcement, so would you settle for the claim of “pretty darn good” New England fall foliage resource, particularly if I told you it was free?
Let me explain what’s going on before you check it out.
The fall foliage is a major draw and attraction to the New England area from mid-September to the end of October. During this period of frenzy a lot of gas is guzzled driving around scenic backroads, and terabtyes and terabytes of disk storage swallowed up with millions of photos snapped.
Everybody is trying to experience and capture the fleeting autumn moment.
I get many people planning a trip in the fall ask me, “where should I visit to see the best fall?” and “what time should I come to catch peak viewing?” and of course, “where should I stay?”
So in answer to all these frantic last minute requests I’ve put ogether what I think is the ultimate (oops - sorry) useful guide to planning a New England fall foliage trip. You’ll find my best locations to do your leaf peeping. a list of events celebrating the season, ideas and suggestions on things to do, popular drives, hikes, walks, train rides, cruises, a long list of accommodation resources, even photo snapping tips, and a whole bunch more.
What’s different about this resource that other similar ones you can find on fall foliage?
Well, you get to tell me what you like and don’t like about it by voting on it and leaving me a comment.
And there’s no need to be shy about it. A few encouraging words are always appreciated but so is constructive feedback, particularly if there’s a place you think belongs on any of the lists that’s abesent just by my sheer ignorance it exists.
So whether you’re looking to just stare at New England fall foliage in pictures, or are planning a day trip or a week’s vacation for peak foliage viewing this is the resource for you. You can find it here:

Enjoy the best season in New England, and don’t forget to vote and leave me feedback.
