Free Things to Do in Boston

Beacon Hill Boston ImageI don’t know about you but I’m always on the lookout for things to do with my family at the weekend. I especially like things to do in Boston because we live close by and I can get in and out quickly - but my absolute favorite is finding free things to do in Boston.

I find Boston is expensive and anytime I can get to do great stuff for $0 I’m all over it, wanting to know more. And you know, there’s really quite a lot of things to do in Boston for free if you look around and pay attention.

On any number of occasions in the last few years I’ve had friends ask me for my favorite list of free things to do in Beantown. “Oh, just email it to me,” they’d say - but the truth is I’ve never taken the time to collect up my notes and put it in a format where I could give it to them.

Until now.

This last weekend I put the finishing touches to my list of 21 Free Things to Do in Boston here. I’ve categorized and updated all 21 things to ensure everything is still valid and you can in fact still do them all for nothing! I’ve even added photos and a map for you so you can find everything quickly.

And best of all… like all my stuff… it’s free. Well, you wouldn’t expect to pay for a list of free stuff to do would you?

The list includes, museums, tours, historic trails, parks and gardens, entertainment, events, and even a free lunch - I know, there’s no such a thing - well there is. But you’ve got to check my list out to find out where, and for all you Bostonians - its right under your nose.

So today, I’ll keep my post short so you can head on over to my special hub page and read my 21 Free Things to Do in Boston by clicking here.

Please give me a “thumbs up” rating at the end of the article if you liked it, or a “thumbs down” if you didn’t - I hope you do enjoy it though. And you can even leave me a comment to add your own favorite free things to do in Boston if it’s not on my list, and I will.

I have some more exciting news later this week about another resource for you to check out for destinations and attractions in New England. So be sure to check back soon, or just subscribe to my RSS feed here so you get notified automatically.

Enjoy the rest of your week,
