Tall Ships Arrive in Newport Rhode Island

Two of my favorite summer activities are come together this summer - the Tall Ships are coming to Newport Rhode Island.
However busy my family’s schedule is in the summer - and it gets busy with kid camps and outdoor house maintenance projects - we always make room for a visit to Newport, RI.

August is Music Festivals of Newport Month

August in Newport heralds the return of two world renowned music festivals hosted by the town…
The Newport Folk Fest and the Newport Jazz Festival.
Both events take over the town during the first two weekends in August.
